This report aims at targeting issues that future developers of mobile learning needs to take into consideration and deal with, before designing mobile learning applications for the Nordic School system. The report builds on the knowledge derived out of the Mobile Learning Environment (MLE) project where applied research, tests, interviews and surveys have been carried out in Sweden, Denmark and Finland during 2007 and 2008. It also builds on top of prior work within the field of mobile learning. Starting from relevant learning theories, various aspects of the learning content and its relation to mobile technology is discussed in this report.
