This paper was submitted to the 2018 International Zurich Seminar on Information and CommunicationIn this paper, the fundamental limits of simultaneous information and energy transmission in the two-user Gaussian interference channel (G-IC) without feedback are fully characterized. More specifically, an achievable and converse region in terms of information and energy transmission rates (in bits per channel use and energy-units per channel use, respectively) are presented. The achievable region is obtained using a combination of rate splitting, power-splitting, common randomness and superposition coding.
