International audienceIn this study, the issue of deriving strain fields from corrupted measurements of displacement fields is addressed. Two approaches are compared, a global one based on Finite Element approximation and a local one based on Diffuse approximation. For both of them, we show how to monitor the standard deviation of the reconstructed strain field. A validation on modelled data is presented.
