International audienceIn this article, we seek to highlight the emergence of a new kind of informal 2.0 telecollaboration held on interactive multimodal platforms like YouTube. From a case study, the channel of a young North American , we show how the subgenre of vlogging " practice of a language online " can be a form of telecollaboration in which a learner works the competence to talk continuously and acquire digital literacy skills, but also how a linguistic and cultural caring community forms around the vlogger.
