International audienceThis paper intends to introduce a new methodology for software radio systems validation, entirely based on UML. Right at the modeling step it will be possible to perform non-functional coherence verification of software radio architecture specifications and application requirements with UML based models. The interest of such an approach is to give the designers the opportunity to investigate, before beginning any development phase, the array of potential solutions and enabling selection of some by verification of the coherency.
