In this paper the problems connected with modeling of transient processes in high voltage electrical systems are considered. The estimates of stability of these systems require recognition of the nonlinear character of loads from the voltage and the frequency. The new technique for simplification of the models based on Jordan elimination is presented. The same approach is used for obtaining nonlinear load characteristics for the aggregated nodes
