The purpose of this paper is to create an employee ownership model for Latvia including both recommendations for state and enterprise level. We use qualitative research methods to outline the model – these are interview of experts and content analysis of the model. As the result we have developed a frame for alternations in legislation to set the main type of employee ownership and adapt taxation, and suggestions and methodological principles for employee ownership introduction in enterprises
