Design of Clothing Using Visual Correction

For the further development of European clothing companies the orders of small amounts and even for individual clients become important. Widely known kind of industrial production of individual clothing (tailoring) is based on transformation of the patterns of standard styles accordingly to the measurements of individuals. This method is mostly used for production of corporative clothing and, unfortunately, does not provide the production of fully suitable clothing styles for an individual. The new kind of higher quality service for individual clients including visual correction of the peculiarities of a body with clothing is developed in the research. The clothing design method that provides the correction of the individual peculiarities of a body using systematized correction ways is described in an article. The ways to correct the visual perception of the proportions of a body using a line as artistic mean of expression in clothing are described. The directions, configurations of lines and their combinations are used correcting the certain peculiarities of an individual body
