Background: Obesity is one of the major health problems now days. It is not always necessary that if the person is not obese, the serum cholesterol level is normal. Various interventions are available now days including dietary supplements which claim to reduce serum cholesterol level. Methods: An experimental study has done on 40 samples (20 experimental and 20 control) selected randomly in Pune city, India.
