The "Britamolene" was built in 1931 by the Furness Shipbuilding Company of Great Britain. She was a steel-hulled vessel of 1931 gross ton. She was owned by Britamolene of Halifax, Nova Scotia until 1946 when she was sold to Gayport Shipping of Toronto and then to the Hall Corporation of Montreal. Her name was changed by the Hall Corporation to "Wave Transport." In 1963, she was sold to a Panamanian shipping company, and in 1967 to a second Panamanian company. During those years, she was variously named the "Florence B." and "Captain Theo." The Transportes Maritimes y Fluviales S. A. of Ecuador purchased her in 1973. Her name was changed to "Rio Daule." She was scrapped in 1982
