Urban transport policy is often formulated in general terms. This makes it hard to define where policy objectives are of importance in an urban network. Also comprehensive evaluation of transport policy is lacking in most cities. Therefore, this research aims to develop a generic approach for policy makers in Dutch cities to make urban transport policy more specific and measurable on the network level. Based on a case study of some steps of the GGB+ method, of which the results are validated by expert interviews, it can be stated that urban transport policy can be made more tangible by priority maps and function maps.
