OBJECTIVES: In heart transplant recipients, elevated mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP) shortly before or after transplantation represents a powerful predictor for an adverse short-term outcome. Less is known on cardiac and pulmonary pressures measured in the stable phase after heart transplantation.
