This study aims to find out how the description and meaning of subjective wellbeing on primary school honors teachers in Yogyakarta. This research uses qualitative-phenomenological approach with data collection method of observation and interview (semi-structured). Informants in this study consisted of two primary school honors teachers, male honorary teachers and female honorary teachers. The results of this study revealed the description and meaning of subjective well-being in both informants. The subjective well-being of the two informants includes feeling happy and prosperous by having children and husband / wife, students and sufficient daily needs, and feeling grateful for what has been obtained.
