In this thesis we studied certain aspects of phase-shift analysis, the determination of the scattering amplitude from the measurable quantities and unitarity. We have treated in particular the case of angular distributions which are known without experimental uncertainties for all scattering angles 0, and we have shown that even in this idealized situation serious ambiguities exist in phase-shift analysis. We have considered the cases of scattering of spinless particles and the case of spin 0 - spin 1/2 scattering. ... Zie: Introduction
