The object of this study is the one man company. The one man company can be defined as a company whose shares are all held by a single person. There is thus only one shareholder. The study concentrates on the case of a naturalperson holding all the shares of a private company. It is of a comparative nature: the one man company is examined in five representative Member States of the European Union, namely: the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom (of which only the English law is dealt with). ...
