Fetal growth is one of the main indicators of prenatal development. In the past decades. Assessment fetal growth by ultrasound has become increasingly important in clinical obstetrics. One of the main problems is that seemingly abnormal growth can be in fact normal, when it is induced by genetic factors and not caused by external circumstances restricting or enhancing growth.
