The central topic of this thesis is to develop an idea of what parameters are important when considering application of molecular motors in functioning (nano)technological systems. A compilation of arguments based on physical and biochemical examples, as well as on examples of work delivery in molecular systems indicates that this should be possible. With this aim, the maximum rotation rate is accelerated to beyond MHz frequencies, and the true rotation rate as dependent on experimental conditions analysed in terms of the kinetic equilibrium.
