During the 1996-97 academic year, a PRP undertook an analysis ofurban change in Texas in conjunction with the University's Urban Issues Program. Although much is known about cities in other regions ofthe country, Texas cities have rarely been the focus of rigorous study. The project examined economic, demographic, political, and land use change. This report should be useful to policymakers and others concerned with the future of Texas cities.Public Affair
