Mode relationnel, addictions et précarité sociale

International audienceThis article is based on qualitative research in psychology that examines the relationship between experiences of social precarity, trauma, and borderline personality organization. The interview guidelines were based on the Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis (OPD-2), which includes a process-orientedassessment as well as a multi-model and multi-axial diagnosis. We used grounded theory (Glaser & Strauss, 1967) for the interpretation of our data while integrating aspects of the complementarist approach of G. Devereux. In 20 interviews with 10 different people, we found a relational mode with mistrust being central and insecure or unsafe attachment patterns. This helps us to better understand the meaning of addictive behaviour in this context: The nterviews show relationship patterns where distance is created in order to protect oneself, substituting human relationships by drug abuse (which still leaves an empty space) and attempted subjectivation. We also found an attempt to rebuild and stabilise identity (using an identity that covers the former), and to reconstruct the fragilised Moi-Peau (Anzieu, 1985), which has been weakened by early traumatic experiences.Cet article est issu d'une recherche qualitative en psycho-logie qui interroge le lien entre vécu de précarité, traumas et fonc-tionnement limite.
