Add to ORKGclew line[PT] ...an' there's a gaff topsail halyards - that would be a single rope, run through one single block, one end...put on each side o' the boat; an' a gaff topsail halyard an' a gaff topsail clew-line. A clew-line is [one rolled*]thrice through [cringles ?] from right round, right around the sail, an' tached * to a block on the top o' the mast head.[Well], you let the topsail run, take hold to your clew- line an' you'll bunch un right up in a bunch.
