This paper explores the issue of gender bias in the workforce. First-hand accounts of gender bias of both men and women currently in the workforce across diverse industry backgrounds were given. Specifically, the interviews were conducted with professionals working in the healthcare, higher education, agriculture, and manufacturing fields. A literature review of relevant journals, peer-review journals, books, and online articles pertaining to the impact of gender differences is included. This paper also specifically examines experiences in the workplace, wage and occupation gaps, physiological differences, and actions being taken to overcome issues of gender bias.
