[[abstract]]We have previously showed that IL-1β is involved in the pathogenesis of both spontaneously occurring and passively induced IgA nephropathy (IgAN) models. However, the exact causal-relationship between NLRP3 inflammasome and the pathogenesis of IgAN remains unknown.
