For both fundamental and applied purposes high Tc superconductivity has been a much studied subject for researcher in many different disciplines, ever since its discovery by Bednorz and Muller in 1986 [1]. Considerable effort has been put into comprehending the mechanism of the pairing, giving rise to critical temperatures much higher than expected form conventional ideas. Up to 1986 the highest Tc achieved was 23K for Nb3Ge, which has been increased to the contemporary record of 134 K for Hg2Ba2Cu3O10-d at ambient pressure. The critical temperature of this compound can be raised up to 164 K by applying high pressure. ... Zie: Summary
