This thesis is devoted to the study of a specific class of comb-shaped supramolecules based on alkylphenols (e.g. pentadecylphenol, PDP) hydrogenbonded to either a homopolymer poly(4-vinylpyridine) (P4VP) or to a polystyreneb-poly(4-vinylpyridine) (PS-P4VP) diblock copolymer. These systems exhibit intriguing self-organized structures that can be exploited for various applications. The connection between these structures, the way they are formed and how this can be used to develop new applications forms the objective of this thesis. Zie: Summary
