Copyright © 2008 IEEEA new method for interference mitigation which efficiently combines continuous-wave (CW) external-noise mitigation with transient and impulsive-noise mitigation in high-frequency over-the-horizon (HF OTH) radars is proposed in this paper. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated on real data collected by the JORN and SECAR HF OTH radars.Y.I. Abramovich, P. Turcaj and N.K. Spence
