Krásná Lípa in the Context of the Development of Textile Industry (19th and 20th century)

Presented bachelor thesis aims to describe development of textile industry in Krásná Lípa in the 19th and 20th century and its influence on image of the town. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to a character of literature and available sources to the subject of the textile industry and the history of Krásná Lípa. There is a brief look on the history of Krásná Lípa from the Middle Ages up to nowadays in the second chapter. The third chapter describes the general development of the textile production in the Czech lands and the North Bohemian region and the development of the textile industry in Krásná Lípa and Krásný Buk. The local textile production, its extent, brunches and its influence on the town development is presented on a sample of several companies
