Trade unions and their impact on personnel management practice in interwar Czechoslovakia

This bachelor thesis deals with trade unions in interwar Czechoslovakia and their impact on personnel management. It focuses on the development of political, economic and national situation in Czechoslovakia, principles of trade unions' functioning and social legislation of the time. The nature of interwar personnel management (theory and practice) is described. Based mainly on the study of historical documents (publications, archival sources) total impact of trade unions' activities on personnel management practice in organisations is evaluated.
