Seniors with dementia and Psychobiographic model prof. Erwina Böhma

The main objective of this theses is elderly people suffering from dementia and a Psycho-biographical Erwin Böhm care model. The thesis is divided into three theoretical parts and one practical part, which focuses on the the theoretical process of acceptance elderly people into a non-profit organization that works with the above mentioned model. The first chapter of the thesis deals with the terms of aging and all the difficulties brought by this stage of life. The second chapter firstly clarifies the terms of dementia and Alzheimer disease and secondly it explains the different sorting and alternatives in therapies of these diseases. The third part focuses on the Erwin Böhm care model and clarifies all the care principles. The final chapter describes the non-profit organization elderly home Sue Ryder, z.ú. and it also creates an overview of two different ways on how to accept a client into this organization
