In this study, moisture change of varnished wood of black poplar (Populus nigra) and yellow pine (Pinus silvestris L.) used in indoor climate conditions with central heating in Trabzon (Turkey) were investigated. 300 mm length wood specimens, with cross section of 12.5 mm in tangential and in radial and with the square sections of 25mm and 50 mm, were obtained from two species grown in Kanuni Campus of the Karadeniz Technical University.
