The objective of this technical note is to present the work done under the Trade and Gender Initiative led by the Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank. The technical note emphasizes the process of gender mainstreaming in trade operations conducted by the Bank and in the generation of knowledge in the area of trade and gender.
