Pemanfaatan Dan Kelengkapan Pelayanan Antenatal Care Di Kelurahan Kebon Kalapa, Kota Bogor Tahun 2014

Maternal and infant mortality rate in Indonesia is higher than that of other ASEAN countries. This study aimed to analyze factors related to the utilization of antenatal care and described the completeness of antenatal care service on pregnant women in Kebon Kalapa, Bogor City. A total of 122 ever pregnant women were used for the analysis. This study was used cross sectional design. The analysis showed that 88.5% of mothers with the recommended frequency of antenatal care visits (K4), but only 4% of women who received complete antenatal care components (10T). Blood pressure examination (100%), positioning and presentation of the infant (100%) as well as the fetal heart rate examination (100%) were the highest percentage of antenatal service components. Furthermore, counseling was the lowest percentage among all the components of antenatal care (23%). Bivariate analysis showed that the age of mothers and number of pregnancies were associated with antenatal care visits. Mothers aged >35 years had 0.3-fold lower odds to utilize antenatal care service compared to mothers aged ≤35 years. Mothers had pregnancies history 3-8 times had 0.3-fold lower odds to utilize antenatal care service compared to mothers who had pregnancies history 1-2 times
