Pesantren is one of the Islamic-based educational institutions in Indonesia. Pesantren is also a unique and complex institution. Although separate from surrounding community pesantren isrecognized as a subculture in society, so that the real role of pesantren in solving social problems is needed, including in economics and business. The most influential effect of pesantren in developing the economy is related to its strong bond between students and alumni, as evidenced by the formation of students and alumni organizations in various regions. The organization has developed as a powerful business network. To optimize the network, therefore, a web based information system is essential in providing efficient and effective commucation media for students and alumni of the pesantren. The ntework is also important in expanding the bussiness network for students and alumni as well as to provide entrepreneurial education to students and to strengthen the economy through the real sector
