Bstract: It is President’s right to reshuffle the cabinet in order to maximise the government’s performance. However, the society views this process as politic matter, which they learn from the media. This research observes the news tendency about the reshuffle of Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu II in Kompas and Jawa Pos daily newspaper. Content analysis is used to the news accounts during September-October 2011 with Westerstahl‘s objectivity as conceptual preference. The result shows that both newspapers, technically, have given good coverage about the issue yet still less objective. Psychology fact, interview, not neutral, partiality, non primary knowledge is the factors that trigger it
