Karakter Visual Fasade Bangunan Kolonial Belanda Rumah Dinas Bakorwil Kota Madiun

. One of Dutch colonial building that still survives and become one of the icons in Madiun district is the home office building of Bakorwil. But unfortunately in some parts of the building facade has been changed due to the change of the rooms. The purpose of this study is to determine the visual character of the Dutch colonial building facade official residence Bakorwil Madiun. The method has been used is a descriptive analysis method with some steps by describing the visual elements of building and analyzing it, thus we can conclude the visual character of building. Visual character that has been shown by the home office Bakorwil Madiun is a style Indische Empire style. The use of type Tuscan pillars, windows and doors to the gigantic size of the building facade of the building belongs to past authority
