A 38 Years Old Man with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (Bppv)

Benign paroxysmal Positional Vertigo or BPPV, is the common type of severe dizziness and often occurs after a head injury. It is easily recognizable by the pattern of headache that occurs only when the head is placed in certain position. 38 years old man comes with dizziness if swing his head. Complaints subside when lying down, Complaints accompanied by nausea without vomiting. History of traffic accident trauma +. Neurological examination found Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) 15, Nystagmus +/+ on vertigo test. Based on anamnesis and examination carried out this patients diagnosed with BPPV. Therapy given are IVFD RL gtt xx/minute, betahistine 3 x 24mg, ranitidine 3 x 50mg
