Evaluasi Penerapan Sistem Otomasi Pada Main Station PT. Xyz (Industri Pengolahan Kelapa Sawit) Terhadap Pencapaian Titik Bep (Break Even Point)

PT. XYZ is one of the agribusiness company located in North Sumatra which is engaged in oil palm plantation starting from seeding, planting, harvesting and processing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) to Crude Palm Oil (CPO). This research discusses the evaluation of the implementation of automation system at the clarification station which is the Main Station of the palm oil mill towards achieving the BEP point of the automated system investment. The method used to determine the BEP point is the linear regression forecasting method. The data used is when the factory has not implemented the automation system that is in 2014 and the factory data at the time after the implementation of automation and evaluation of the implementation of the automation system is 2015 and 2016. The influence of machine settings and control parameters, affect saving losses, so saving losses will be more visible in 2014 0.02% and in 2015 and 2016 to average 0.055% with 76.5 tons / hour production will saving 4.2 tons / hour cpo. From the calculation results obtained NPV value after evaluation of Rp 7.478.000.000 from RP 5.998.420.000 beginning, IRR after evaluation of 25% from 18%, PP evaluation for 3 years, 11 months from the beginning 7 years 2 months, and BCR for evaluation 2.211 from 1,803. and supported two other important aspects such as technical & production aspects such as reduce manpower, oil recovery
