“Library Collection Management Influence on Student Reading Interest Nursing De La Salle Catholic University of Manado”. College library is one of the container to provide various forms of information in order to achieve akademinisi needs of Tri Dharma University. Library collection is a source of information that is in the library, as we know with that which exists in the library collection consists of many collections, if the collection can not be managed properly, it will not affect the maximal libraries in meeting the needs of information, it this will indirectly have an impact on the less interest in reading from the user in utilizing the information in the library. So there is the library collection should be managed by a system called the collection management system which includes three principles; Collection Planning, Organizing Collection and Monitoring Collection, the collection management system, the existing collection in the library can be managed well and can meet the needs of the user like, thus increasing the reading interest in utilizing the collections of the library.The problems studied in this research are: the influence sebarapa Library Collection Management on Nursing student Interests Read De La Salle Catholic University of Manado.The data analysis technique used is the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis (PPM) and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the calculation Kolelasi Product Moment library collection management accounted for 97.6%, while the remaining 2.4% is the contribution of the other variables. and a significant difference between the management of library collections on student reading Nursing De La Salle Catholic University of Manado. While the results of the calculation of simple linear regression analysis with the results fhiung ≥ ftabel, or 2787.82 ≥ 2.05, so reject Ho, which means that the influence segnifikan. This means that the management of library collections and patterned linear significant effect on student reading Nursing De La Salle Catholic University of Manado.If related to the theory theory used Total Quality Management (Total Quality Management of / TQM) is an approach that sismatis, practical, strategic, ensuring quality of library collections to meet the satisfaction of the customer / user.The conclusion of this research is the library collection management has a very strong influence on the Reading Interest at 97.6% percentage. Thus the library collection management system must really good applied theory approach Total Quality Management (Total Quality Management of / TQM) in the library of De La Salle Catholic University of Manado, so as to increase student interest in reading of Nursing to meet the information
