Good physical fitness in elderly women is very important in the activities of daily living and independence. Good physical fitness in elderly women is also important to avoid diseases and fault injury. A cross sectional study has been carried out for 6 months, from August 2002 to February 2003. The study was involving 128 elderly women aged between 55 to 64 years old, in five Health Centers from five areas in Jakarta Province.
