Penentuan Tingkat Kemiskinan Menggunakan Metode Analytic Hierarchy Process Dan Sistem Informasi Geografis (Studi Kasus: Kecamatan Tugu, Tembalang Dan Banyumanik)

Poverty is a problem which occurs across the world, even developed countries. From year to year, increase number of poverty is a problem that must be faced by the citizen and the government. Nowadays poverty problem become increasing seriously because of state economy condition that not improved in recent years. Based on this phenomenon, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have a strategic role. This is due to GIS ability to present the spatial aspects both to assess and analyze population condition that would be useful for civil welfare in the future. This study focuses on three parameters, there are population density, number of low-educated population and number of low-income population. From the analysis and weighting calculation with AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) obtained great influence for each parameter. The percentage are 62.065% for the low-income population, 26.630% for low-educated population and 11.305% for population density parameter. The study result showed poverty level in this study scope (Tugu, Tembalang and Banyumanik Sub-district) well-suited with data from BAPPEDA. From this study also known the highest level of poverty is Mangkang Wetan in Tugu Sub-district while the the lowest level of poverty is Tembalang Village in Tembalang Sub-district
