Faktor-faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Minat Ibu Terhadap Penggunaan Alat Kontrasepsi Dalam Rahim ( Akdr) Di Puskesmas Tuminting Kota Manado

: IntraUterine Devices (IUD) is one method of contraception that is safe and the most recommended in the national family planning program in Indonesia. Some factors that may associated with mother interest towards the use of an IntraUterine Devices (IUD) are knowledge, education, age, employment, economic, information and husband support. The purpose to find out the factors related to the interestof the use of IntraUterine Devices (IUD) in Community Health Centre Tuminting Manado City. Design cross sectional. Population is the mother who use IntraUterine Device (IUD). The sample was 84 respondents. Result statistical test Chi Square test at the significance level 95% (α = 0.05), show that there is relationship between age and use of IUD with p value = 0,034, economic and the use of IUD with p value = 0,026, while education is not to associated with of IUD with p value = 0,0294. The conclusion of this study are relationship between age and the economic with the use of IUD with p value α = 0.05. Suggestions Community Health Centre in order to enhance the role of nurses in particular maternity nurses in the implementation of family planning programs by providing information about IntraUterine Devices (IUD)
