Indonesia is tsunami prone country which needs sustainable preparedness to minimize the disaster impact. There's certain communication strategy needed to raise people's awareness and knowledge in order to build sustainable local community preparedness toward tsunami.Communication strategy chosen to deliver tsunami preparedness message is mass communication theory, applied in social campaign which the visual, language, and media, imply local culture values. The campaign concept itself called “Gesit” means being agile, aim to build agile culture in coastal society, especially when the tsunami strikes.
