Strategi Pengembangan Tanaman Tembakau di Subak Abian Geluwung, Kabupaten Karangasem Bali

The purpose of this study to determine,(1)Factors affecting the development of tobacco plants in Subak Abian Geluwung,(2)The right strategy in the development of tobacco plants in Subak Abian Geluwung. Research done at Subak Abian Geluwung group. Respondent using random sampling method terquota in the capture of 30 people. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis Outcome of this study the factors that affect the internal factor, namely the factor of force (strenghts), (1)Availability of land, (2) Availability of raw materials, (3) Availability of fertilezer, (4) The cultivation technique is not difficult , (5) tradition, (6) The farmers' groups (subak), (7) availability of water resources, and Weaknesses (Weaknesess) consists of, (1) Quality of limited resources, (2) capital small businesses, (3) limited post-harvest technologies, (4) Less labor, (5) product can not be stored longer Identifying esternal, namely factor opportunities (Opopportunitie) consists of: (1) The product price is high, (2) market demand and threat factors (Threats) consists of (1) climate change, (2) economic crisis, (3) Natural disasters.
