KEEFEKTIFAN COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY (CBT) UNTUK MENURUNKAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA IBU HAMIL DI RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH SURAKARTA

Background: stress and anxiety corelate with Perinatal Outcomes. Women who experienced severe live event in the first tremester of pregnancy had increase of congenital abnormalities (eg cleft pallatum), operative delivery (cesarian section and instrumental delivery), preterm delivery, low birt weight, and behavioural/emotional problems in children. Objective: The aims of this study were to exemine effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy for antenatal anxiety. Method: This study was collaboration qualitative and experimental quasi research, with randomized controlled trial group, pre and post test design. Subject research are outpatient in Obstretic Departement of PKU Muhammadiyah hospital, and meet iclution criteria of research. Taking sample with purposive sampling tecnique. The instrument of research used are TMAS. Statistical analysis was condunted with SPSS for window 15.0 vertion. Statistical analysis were use t test. Result: The analysis data showed that there are significantly difference of the anxiety intensity between group theraphy and control group (TMAS scor early 20,900 + 3,796; finaly TMAS scorr 15,450 + 1,849; t = 9,581; p = 0,000 ), show of TMAS scor decrease of control group are higher than control group.
