PEMBUATAN KAMUS ELEKTRONIK KALIMAT BAHASA INDONESIA DAN BAHASA JAWA UNTUK APLIKASI MOBILE MENGGUNAKAN INTERPOLATION SEARCH

Human as social individu needs to communicate one another but sometimes language is the problem of it. Therefore, language must be survived because it is the culture mirror and the speaker identity, such as Javanese. To solve this problem, there must be the third person, translator, that masters two languages. In this final project, J2J translator, electronic dictionary software has been made to translate sentences from Indonesia to Javanese or the other way. Making this software uses J2ME program where the process of translation is started from splitting the sentence using the space, searching for the synonym using search interpolation method, and combining the words into a sentence. The result of the re search from Indonesia to Javanese that contains five words needs 12.24 millisecond on emulator and 52.8 millisecond on phone, and the result of the research from Javanese to Indonesia needs 11.68 millisecond on emulator and 38.48 millisecond on phone. From the questioner, it shows that 100% of the respondents tell that this J2J application help them to translate Javanese. Additionally it can be used easily whenever and wherever by only putting in the phone application. Key Word: Electronic Dictionary, J2ME, Interpolation Searc
