One of bacteria which the most found in drinking water is E.coli as pathogenic bacteria. Contamination of ground water occurs because of pathogenic bacteria. Close distance between ground water and surface water or septic tank made contamination of ground water. E.coli bacteria had to remove from ground water, so that the people deserved ground water as drinking water. This research aimed to design reactor to remove E. Coli bacteria. The processes were photolysis process and phothocatalysis process. Both of them in a Fixed Bed Reactor used for removal of E.coli bacteria.
