Toposequence is a concept of different between soil type and altitude, which paramount to the soil property. it highly influences the process of erosion, transportation. deposition, soil cherrastry and soil morfology. The study aimed at knowing the disbution of soil chemistry at various altitudes. The method used in the study was the stematic survey method other observation point were determined by a distance of 50 m defference. This study was done 5 month from oktober 1999 throught Februari 2000 it was conducted at Ngadirenggo Village on the southern slope of mt Kawi, Wlingi District Blitar Regency The result are (1) Distribution of Na-F acidity, organic matter. N-total, CEC, and base saturation at high altitudes was decolased on altitude (ii) The distribution of soil chemistry at altitudes. was influenced by illuviation, elluviatun and erosio
