Basic GIS course in the Slovenian language for publishing on the web

The goal of the thesis is to create a GIS course, in which the basic tools are presented for working with ESRI ArcMap10. The content is divided into two parts. The first part covers the development and presentation of the software, the theoretical basis of GIS technology, a description of simple tools with examples and exercises. This is a complete review of the ArcMap10 program and its tools - settings and import of data, data selection and editing features, editing display, tools for data processing and mapping and exporting data. Operations of functional analysis division are presented in detail. The second part of the thesis is made by using a program to create web pages KompoZer. The website contains the first part of the thesis, including solutions with intermediate steps. Useful links are added to the website
