We analyze the impact of the Internet, more specifically the World Wide Web, in the evolution of the Public Administration’s Documentation Centers to Digital Information Services. How affect in information professionals' job; its advantages and drawbacks are described, both in the documentary process and in the intermediary process (i.e., bibliographic search and primary documents provision)
