Ankara Üniversitesi Dil Ve Tarih Coğrafya Fakültesi Yazmalarının Bilgisayar Ortamına Aktarılması

It is a significant contribution to scientific life presenting Turkish-Islamic manuscripts’ to researchers, which have great importance in Turkish culture and history and historical researches standing point of view. Manuscripts might be injured because of inappropriate conditions and/or circulation from hand to hand. The best solution is to transfer those precious cultural existences into computerized environment as a whole text. In this paper, bibliographic control and catalogue publication of different scientific studies and manuscripts at Faculty of Letter’s library will be explained. Their transfer into computerized environment as a whole text to serve Turkish and international scientists and researchers will be described
