Background : Streptococcus mutans is the principle etiological agent of dental caries. The previous research has mentioned red grapes,derived from Vitis vinifera varians, could decreased plaque formation and suppressed the growth of oral bacteria associated with caries and gum disease. Objective : The purpose of this study was to measure the antibacterial effect of red grapes juice on S. mutans in vitro.
